elbow gloves
Gloves that extend past the elbow to the upper arm, sometimes reaching all the way to the shoulder/armpit. If the gloves end bellow the elbow use under-elbow gloves instead.
Gloves worn with formal dresses such as evening gowns and cocktail dresses are often known as evening gloves, with evening gloves extending past the elbow being referred to as opera gloves.
