Nibutani Shinka is a beautiful girl who has long brown hair tied into a ponytail along with a pink hairclip. She also has orange eyes and is a tall girl.
During the start of the first episode of Ren she dyes her hair black which lacks a ponytail and a hairclip along with wearing a much longer skirt in order to keep her identity a secret, but fails at the end of the first episode as she changes back into her old appearance, but during the finale she briefly wears her hair in twin braids, round glasses and white socks.
She's a Class Representative (and originally a cheerleader, but later joins the drama club as of Ren) from Togashi Yuuta's class who, like him, used to be diagnosed with a chuunibyou in which she labeled herself as "Mori Summer", but then moved to Icho Private Highschool in order to escape her horribly embarrassing past. She often tends to fight with Dekomori Sanae because of it in achieving the goal of erasing the traces of her own past as Mori Summer for good.
Shinka is generally described as a gorgeous and friendly girl in the anime, and is popular among her peers due to her good looks. However, she shows her blunt and edgy side when she's alone Rikka, Yuuta and others, particularly whenever it comes to dealing with Dekomori Sanae, who doesn't know is the real Mori Summer. She usually takes her frustration out on her whenever she says "fake Mori Summer" and feeding her milk, which Sanae deems poisonous, but it's later revealed that they actually care for each other and vice-versa.
Despite her flaws, she's a genuinely kindhearted girl who cares deeply about her friends/clubmates, and doesn't hesitate to help them whenever they need it. In Episode 7, it is revealed that she's enthusiastic when it comes to romance, but in Episode 9 Shinka makes it fairly clear that Rikka and Yuuta must be together, and often tends to help them on their relationship.

真香在动漫中被普遍描述为一位美丽而友善的女孩，由于她的美貌而受到同龄人的欢迎。然而，当她独自一人立夏、裕太等人时，她会表现出直率和急躁的一面，尤其是在与不知道真正的森夏的德科森早苗打交道时。每当她说“假森夏”并喂她牛奶时，她通常都会把沮丧发泄在她身上，早苗认为牛奶有毒，但后来发现他们实际上是互相关心的，反之亦然。
