phoenix
A mythical sacred firebird originated from the Greek mythology; a fire spirit with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet. According to legend the creature always rises from the ashes of its own previously deceased form. It symbolizes immortality and the eternal cycle of death and rebirth.
